The farmhouse "Al Vecchio Torchio del Casale" was born from the recovery of an old millstone located within a farm in the heart of the countryside of the Castiglione di Sicilia area, in the "Pietramarina" district, on the S.P. 7II Castiglione – Verzella. Nestled between the slopes of the northern slope of Etna and the Alcantara valley, on a hillock from which enchanting rural landscapes can be enjoyed, the company covers an area of about three hectares planted with vineyards, olive groves and orchards, whose products are strictly used for the preparation of delicious dishes. The peculiarities of the place and the scrupulous attention of the owners in the preparation of the delicious typical dishes, with the use of local and carefully selected raw materials, make agritourism an ideal place for relaxing and joyful days away from the noise of the city. The presence of pets freely in the large oak grove adjacent to the restaurant is a pleasant surprise for children and those who appreciate their joyful wanderings. Places of particular historical, artistic and environmental interest are easily accessible from the structure, present in the immediate vicinity, including splendid Byzantine Cuba, the Alcantara Gorges and the Small Gorges, the Gurne of the River Park, the Vulcanetto di Moio and the nearby inhabited centres of Castiglione di Sicilia, Randazzo, Moio and Linguaglossa.
