Trattoria Da Cesare Al Casaletto

About Us

Trattoria Da Cesare al Casaletto is a renowned restaurant in the Monteverde district of Rome, precisely in Via del Casaletto 45. Founded in the 1950s as "La Palma" by Anna and Vittorio, the restaurant was later managed by their son Cesare in the 1970s, taking on its current name. Since 2009, Leonardo Vignoli and Maria Pia Cicconi have taken over the trattoria, keeping the Roman culinary tradition alive and gaining a loyal local and international clientele.

The trattoria offers a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, with a single well-furnished room and a well-kept mise en place. In the warmer months, having lunch or dinner on the outdoor veranda is possible, enjoying a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The location in the Monteverde district, far from the tourist circuits, gives the restaurant an authentic and genuine character.

The cuisine of Trattoria Da Cesare al Casaletto is deeply rooted in Roman tradition, with particular attention to the quality of raw materials. The menu offers a selection of appetizers, first and second courses, typical, prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, with a preference for local labels that perfectly accompany the dishes.
